Walk In Balance
This event was created to provide structured public exposure, promote behavioural advocacy, encourage calm neutrality training, support safer community participation, and create an inclusive environment for dogs of all behavioural backgrounds.

WHAT WALK IN BALANCE IS
Walk In Balance is:
β Structured exposure
β Behavioural advocacy
β Calm pack movement
β Public confidence building
β Owner education
β Neutrality training
β Safe behavioural participation
WHAT WALK IN BALANCE IS NOT
Walk In Balance is NOT:
β A dog park
β Uncontrolled socialization
β An off-leash event
β A dog greeting event
β A free-play environment
The goal is calm coexistence and structured movement β not forced interaction between dogs.
WHY STRUCTURED EXPOSURE MATTERS
Many behavioural issues develop or worsen through:
overstimulation,
uncontrolled greetings,
negative dog interactions,
lack of structure,
and stressful public experiences.
Structured exposure helps dogs learn:
calmer movement,
environmental neutrality,
engagement with handlers,
emotional regulation,
and safer public participation.
Not every dog benefits from uncontrolled dog park environments or high-energy social settings.
Walk In Balance focuses on creating safer and more structured experiences for dogs and owners alike.
